The Austin International Film Festival (AIFF) was founded by filmmakers and screenwriters to celebrate storytelling—and the artists behind it.

We’re not a giant industry festival, and that’s intentional. By staying smaller, international, and accessible, we keep the focus on the filmmakers and their work.

AIFF values real recognition, meaningful connections, and just the right touch of glamour.

Every selected film matters—whether it’s on the big screen or streaming in our curated online lineup.

We showcase shorts, features, pilots, student work, international films, and screenplays from around the world.

Expect red carpet moments, take-home trophies, great photo ops, and events designed for artists and audiences alike.

Run by Inner Sanctum Films, AIFF is a passion project with strong programming, a big heart, and a little Texas weird.
